ABOUT Quackers Compost Collection

I started Quackers Compost Collection as a way to help green my neighborhood, making composting easy for my neighbors and to reduce residential waste.

My interests in composting begin with my love for gardening. When I watch how much my fruits and veggies flourish, using compost, I became obsessed, teaching my family to compost everything! I soon realized how many people aren’t able to create their own compost pile for a variety of reasons (space, time, don’t garden/have a use for compost, ect.).

So, after some research, several hours spent deciding on a business name (named after our adorable pet ducks, Chino, Coop and Blu Belle) and the creation of our facebook page, Quackers Compost Collection was born. We’re still a small company now, but our goal is for every residence and business in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario composting.
